Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance 2019 Annual Meeting and Principal Forum was successfully held at the University of Macau

  On July 19th, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance (hereinafter referred to as "the Alliance") 2019 Annual Meeting and Principal Forum was held at the University of Macau. The theme of this forum is “Returning to the Era, Witnessing the Era - Playing the Role of Alliance and Integrating into National Policies”, which is the tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao and the 20th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland. The academies and universities actively implement the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Great Bay Development Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Outline") to build the Bay Area into an international science and technology innovation center and an international education demonstration zone. Xu Yongji, Executive Deputy Director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office of the Ministry of Education, Zhu Chaohua, Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, Su Zhaohui, Director of the Macao Higher Education Bureau, Zheng Weiyuan, Deputy Secretary General of the Hong Kong Education Bureau, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education, Macao liaison office, Hong Kong, Hong Kong Zhang Zongming, deputy inspector of the Department of Education of the Liaison Office, Luo Jun, President of the University of Zhongshan, Song Yonghua, President of the University of Macau, Duan Chongzhi, President of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and other representatives from more than 40 universities in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao attended the event.
