Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance 2019 Annual Meeting and Principal Forum was successfully held at the University of Macau
On July 19th, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance (hereinafter referred to as "the Alliance") 2019 Annual Meeting and Principal Forum was held at the University of Macau. The theme of this forum is “Returning to the Era, Witnessing the Era - Playing the Role of Alliance and Integrating into National Policies”, which is the tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao and the 20th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland. The academies and universities actively implement the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Great Bay Development Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Outline") to build the Bay Area into an international science and technology innovation center and an international education demonstration zone. In order to further promote exchanges between university leaders in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao universities and promote professional governance, the Chinese University of Hong Kong held the first “Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao University Alliance Senior Leadership Exchange Group” from June 9 to 15, a total of 21 from 11 Leaders of the Union of Guangdong and Macao Special Administrative Regions participated in the event.

In order to actively implement the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Great Bay Development Plan", fully utilize the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance to deepen the requirements of higher education exchanges and cooperation between the three places, promote exchanges and mutual growth between Hong Kong and Macao and mainlanders, April 17-19, Union Secretary The Department of Education invited the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and the relevant representatives of the Guangdong University to conduct a study and exchange activities in Shanghai and Hangzhou universities to promote cooperation between the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao University Alliance and the Shanghai-Hong Kong University Alliance in the exchange of students and students in Hong Kong and Macao, and promote Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
